My September Favourites

Hellooo, everyone! I hope you’re all fine and dandy. October is HERE and I, for one, am really feeling the lovely Autumn vibes; hot chocolates, oversized jumpers, hats and cosy coats – it’s just heavenly. This is a truly beautiful time of year and I’m making a conscious effort to be much more appreciative of these wonderfully crisp days before the mad rush of Christmas descends upon us! It’s also the perfect time to share my September favourites with you all…

Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo | £26

Who doesn’t love highlighter?! Especially when it’s from Queen Rihanna and her spectacular, all-inclusive beauty range. I am absolutely OBSESSED with this highlighting duo! Both shades are really pigmented and super creamy, so you can get a flawless shimmer and sheen as they glide perfectly over your skin. They work well as a pair, layering one over the other, or as solos, depending on the level of intensity you want to achieve.

The Body Shop Coconut Butter | £15

It’s no secret that I LOVE the Body Shop; their products are utterly gorgeous, effective and 100% cruelty-free. Ethical beauty is the way forward, folks! This product is a classic and it is something I always have in, but might not use as often when I’m sampling other products. Throughout September though, my skin was particularly dry and this luxurious formula was the only thing to really soothe and comfort it, whilst also smelling completely bloody amazing. I can’t recommend it enough!

Lime Crime Perlees Lipstick in Third Eye | £15

Lime Crime are a 100% cruelty-free AND vegan (winning!) cosmetics company that specialise in cool af beauty products. Their Perlees lipsticks have a creamy formula that dries to a long-lasting metallic pop of colour and I’m in LOVE. I got the shade pictured and linked above, Third Eye, and an icy purple shade called Charmed, which is equally as gorgeous. I’m definitely developing a major obsession with this brand…

Zoella Beauty Gelato Shower Shake | £6

Zoella’s Jelly & Gelato range was released earlier this summer to much praise and could she be any more of an inspiration?! The girl just keeps bringing out win after win! I’m a little bit in awe of her and I do love to see her doing so well. Now, I’ll be honest, this shower gel is in my favourites because of the smell. I’m not kidding, the scent is DREAMY. It’s got notes of pomegranate and elderflower which give it a gorgeous, light and fresh aroma that’s just stunning. It’s not as foamy as I like my shower gels to be, but it is moisturising and brilliant for shaving your legs with! The fragrance cannot be beaten though. Treat yourselves, you won’t regret it!

Zara Oversized Pompom Jumper | £39.99

I’m a MASSIVE lover of jumpers and all things cosy, so when I saw this jumper online in early September, I was besotted. Sadly, it was sold out practically ALL MONTH and I just had to stare longingly at it on their website, thinking my chance to own it had passed by. That is, until I was idly browsing one day last week and saw it had come back into stock! Never have I clicked “purchase” so fast in all my life. Zara have some incredible jumpers in right now, this one is just the tip of the ice berg! Bye, bye bank balance…

Lush Sleepy Body Lotion | £13.95

IMG_1835

I don’t know if I’ve shared this with you lovely lot before, but pretty much all my life, I’ve struggled sleeping. I do love sleep, but I find it incredibly difficult to switch off at a reasonable time and I waste hours and hours over-thinking and worrying about completely irrational things. This body lotion from Lush has been a huge help; it’s deeply moisturising, it smells of super soothing lavender and massaging it into the skin provides such a calming effect before bed. I’m still struggling, but this has definitely made an improvement!

So that’s all the things I’ve been enjoying the most throughout September! What have you guys been loving? Thanks for reading this post, chums! It really means a lot and it makes me so happy whenever I hear from any of you. Much love always,
